NETSUITE CONSULTING / SINGAPORE

LOCAL DETAIL. REGIONAL VISION.

Singapore ambition.
Connected
by design.

Your business moves across teams, systems and borders. Make NetSuite the place it comes together.

CuriousRubik helps you plan a first implementation, improve the account you already run and connect the work around it.

01 / START WHERE YOU ARE

A first implementation.
A fresh perspective.

Different starting points deserve different conversations. Tell us where you are, and we’ll work through what a useful next step looks like.

Get the business design right
before the build begins.

Moving beyond spreadsheets or replacing an ERP? Start with the entities, processes and decisions your system must support. Define a first release your finance and operations teams can accept.

Talk through an implementation
  1. UNDERSTAND THE FIT

    A clear requirements map.

Entity structure, finance controls, stock or project workflows, and the systems that should stay connected.

  2. MAKE THE CHOICES

    A practical solution blueprint.

Configuration, OneWorld, integrations and extensions assessed against your requirements and licensing.

  3. PLAN THE TRANSITION

    A reviewable launch plan.

Migration reconciliations, user acceptance, cut-over, training and a first-close rehearsal built into scope.

These are example deliverables. The work, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed for your engagement.

02 / THE SINGAPORE DETAIL

A regional business.
A hundred local details.

The group report is only as useful as the transactions behind it. We bring Singapore finance, cross-border trade and day-to-day operations into the same design.

SGDat the centre.
More than one currency
in the picture.

Entity. Currency. Transaction.
Owner. Exception. Outcome.

01Regional finance that reconciles

SGD books can sit alongside USD sales, overseas subsidiaries and intercompany balances. We map the entity hierarchy, transaction currencies, exchange-rate processes and consolidation checks with your finance owners.

MAKE IT CONCRETEAn entity and reporting blueprint, tested through a sample close.
02Purchasing with a clear trail

A purchase order, part receipt and supplier bill rarely arrive together. Define approval authority, purchasing currencies, receipt matching, landed-cost inputs and the exceptions that need a person to decide.

MAKE IT CONCRETEA procure-to-pay control map with approval and matching scenarios.
03Trade that reaches the ledger

Sales in Singapore, stock with a logistics provider, a customer across the border. Connect orders, availability, fulfilment, returns and settlements so operational changes remain visible to finance.

MAKE IT CONCRETEAn order-to-settlement test pack, including split shipments and returns.
04GST and InvoiceNow handoffs

Start with adviser-reviewed GST requirements and your applicable IRAS phase. Then map invoice and credit-note data, the supported InvoiceNow provider route, transmission status, corrections and reconciliation.

MAKE IT CONCRETEAn invoice-flow and responsibility matrix, with exception tests.

Solution availability, account prerequisites and accredited-provider responsibilities must be confirmed. A NetSuite implementation alone does not establish InvoiceNow readiness.

A TIMELY SINGAPORE QUESTION

InvoiceNow.
What needs to
happen next?

Turn a requirement into a workflow your people can follow.

Discuss the invoice flow

The right starting point is your business’s applicable phase, current finance setup and supported connection route.

  1. 01

    Establish the requirement.

Check the current IRAS guidance and business-specific implementation date with your finance adviser.

  2. 02

    Design the complete journey.

From the source invoice to network exchange, IRAS submission and the correction of a rejected record. Give each step an owner.

  3. 03

    Prove the handoff.

Validate the selected solution and accredited Access Point route. Test invoices, credit notes, failures and reconciliation before rollout.

Official guidance, directly from the source

Requirements are phased and business-specific. Check the latest detail before committing to a date or solution.

03 / FOLLOW ONE TRANSACTION

An order leaves Singapore.
The detail stays connected.

A regional distributor sells in USD, ships in two parts and issues a credit after a return. Here’s the work a useful design needs to carry through.

01SALES

The order

Agreed price, currency, tax treatment and credit approval.

A record the next team can trust.
02OPERATIONS

The shipment

Partial fulfilment and stock movements returned by the logistics system.

An update finance can follow.
03FINANCE

The correction

A linked return, credit note and required invoice-data adjustment.

An exception with an owner.
04CONTROL

The close

Settlement, currency differences and reconciliation against the ledger.

A result you can explain.

The demonstration should tell the whole story.

04 / WHY CURIOUSRUBIK

Good questions.
Clear choices.
Work that connects.

Business process, NetSuite and the systems around it belong in one conversation. That is the perspective we bring.

Bring us the difficult question
01 / UNDERSTAND THE WORK

Follow the problem to its source.

A slow close may begin with a stock adjustment. A billing issue may begin with a changed project. We work through the handoffs with the people who own them.

02 / CHOOSE THE RIGHT CHANGE

Use the platform thoughtfully.

Compare standard configuration, existing products, integrations and tailored development. Be explicit about fit, dependencies and what your team will need to maintain.

03 / MAKE PROGRESS REVIEWABLE

Show how the work will run.

Use agreed scenarios, reconciliations and acceptance criteria. Make decisions visible early, then carry the same evidence into training and handover.

05 / BEFORE WE TALK

Questions worth
asking early.

Is NetSuite the right fit for our Singapore business?

Start with the complexity you need to manage: entities, stock, revenue, reporting and integrations. We assess those requirements against NetSuite capabilities and the systems you already have. A proposal should make the fit, gaps, licensing assumptions and implementation scope clear.

Can you help if we already work with another provider?

We can discuss a focused review, defined improvement or a broader transition. The starting scope should clarify access, documentation, existing agreements and who owns each decision. Handover and ongoing responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

Can you help recover a stalled implementation?

A recovery review starts with the intended outcomes, the current configuration, unresolved issues and evidence from testing. We identify critical dependencies, separate defects from new requirements and agree a realistic stabilisation or completion scope. A delivery date follows that assessment.

Can Singapore finance manage overseas subsidiaries?

NetSuite OneWorld supports subsidiary hierarchies and multi-currency consolidation. The practical design still needs the right legal-entity model, reporting currencies, intercompany treatment, licensing and local requirements. We work through these with your finance owners and advisers.

Does using NetSuite automatically make us InvoiceNow-ready?

No. Readiness depends on your account setup, the supported solution and accredited-provider route, the applicable requirement and tested invoice-data flows. We can help define that technical scope with your chosen providers. Your business and advisers retain responsibility for tax treatment and obligations.

What affects the cost and timing?

Entity count, modules, data condition, integrations, customisations and the availability of your process owners all matter. Ask for software and third-party fees, consulting, migration, testing, training and ongoing work to be separated. Currency, GST treatment, assumptions and exclusions should be clear in the proposal.

Can we keep our ecommerce, CRM and logistics systems?

We assess the actual products, interfaces and record ownership before recommending a connection or replacement. A useful integration scope includes failures, retries, reconciliation and operational ownership as well as the data that moves.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

Your current systems, broad entity structure, the process causing friction and what you want to improve. For a live NetSuite account, describe the symptom and its business impact. You can begin without sending account credentials or confidential business records.

YOUR NEXT CHAPTER STARTS HERE

What would you
like to make
work better?

A first implementation. A regional rollout. One process that keeps getting in the way.

Tell us where you are and what needs to change. Let’s find a useful place to begin.
